Duties:• Conduct metallurgical investigations (general crack failures, welding metallurgy, corrosion, surface defect identification, chemical and mechanical properties confirmation, etc.).• Conduct plant trials (melting, rolling, and heat treatments), and development of new materials.• Quality management (calibrations, verifications, validation, proficiency tests, quality investigations, and quality control of final products and plant equipment).• Technical customer services (customer complaints and queries).• Materials testing (destructive and non-destructive testing of metals, and authorizing results).• Research and process improvement.• Ensure adherence to SHE policies on duty.
