I am a goal oriented person who likes to work in a team with diverse and complimentary skills and experiences. I have worked in the mining sector for four years as a production general and as an acting production team leader on several occasions. After resigning from the mine I joined my family's furniture manufacturing business where I have been exposed to the business environment from a management perspective on areas of Marketing, finance, operations/Production and supply chain management. This has given me an opportunity to participate in strategic planning of the business. Over the past 4 years I have been able to aquire a BA degree in Politics philosophy and Economics, and I am currently registerd for Development Studies honours. I am passionate about local socio-economic development in our nation's townships and village economies and the national economy at large. My carrer objectives are to contribute as much as possible to resolving social ills through human capital development, employment creation and funding entrepreneurial potential to fuel economic development.
