Nikos Tsotsolas is an Assistant Professor (Business Administration Dept.) at University of West Attica. He holds a Diploma in Production Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Crete, Greece (1997), a M.Sc. in Operational Research (2001) from the same University and a PhD in Statistical Science (2009) from University of Piraeus. He had received a 3 year scholarship from Greek Ministry of Education for performing field research on Post-Optimality Analysis (multiple and near-optimal solutions) in Linear Systems. From 2006 to date he is member of the Board of the Hellenic Operational Research Society (HELORS). His research interests fall into the areas of multi-criteria analysis, decision support systems, service quality, and post-optimality analysis in mathematical programming.He is also co-founder and R&D Consultant of Green Project SA, a new and dynamic company operating in the field of scientific management and new technologies, providing high-level of consulting services and developing innovative products and software solutions that address the Greek and international market.He has experience of more than 15 years in designing and managing large technological and research projects in the public and private sector. He has collaborated as external consultant with several large companies (DOL Group,, Group ALTEC, ZENON, European Profiles) and also he has provided services as a technical advisor and quality consultant to a large number of institutions such as the INE/GSEE, Technical University of Crete, University of Piraeus, University of Thessaly, Ionian University, TEI of Piraeus, Music Library Lilian Voudouris. From 2000 onwards, as a project manager he has implemented complex projects with a budget of over 10 million € financed by the European Union, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Education.
