In just one year, over 10,000 Designers joined the mission and sold over $45M in Year 1 sales.Nick's role has included designing and building the team to deliver the service orientated architecture for the rapidly growing next generation direct-sales platform for the family of brands. Before that, he launched the ground-breaking iPad POS solution for the S&D Stylist base.

Transitioning back into a delivery and execution focussed role, Nick was responsible for ideeli's e-commerce and back-office technology platforms. By optimizing the largely distributed team and ensuring a focus on "technical excellence" within the agile development practices, the team productivity was further increased and ensured rapid deployment of key features for its business partners. Negotiations with key vendors drove significant savings within the engineering organization.

As ideeli continued to grow at an extraordinary rate (at this stage a 9-figure business) the technical challenges associated with the 'flash' sale business model become harder to solve.Taking a step back from the day-to-day development process Nick's responsibilities moved to looking strategically at architecture, design patterns and technology choices to handle the business growth.

Responsible for managing the forward going development, qa and operations teams for the complex e-commerce platform supporting ideeli's millions of users and multi-million dollar revenues.

Nick operated within the Technical Architectures and Network Infrastructure service line in UK Consulting. His primary focus was in the Managed Service outsourcing of Data/Voice Networks and Desktop/Service Desk. He led teams delivering infrastructure reprocurement whilst aligning with Change Management and Service Delivery consolidation across multiple business units.
