Dr. Ntuli Angyelile Kapologwe is a highly accomplished professional with extensive expertise in health systems management, reproductive health, health financing, public, and international health. He earned his Medical Doctor degree from the University of Dar Es Salaam, followed by a Master’s degree in Public Health from Tumaini University in Tanzania. Dr. Kapologwe furthered his education with executive training at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, where he obtained an MBA in International Health Management. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership from Aalto University in Finland and the Uongozi Institute in Tanzania. In 2020, he completed a Doctor of Philosophy Degree focusing on implementation research on health system performance at the University of Dodoma. He also completed the International Program for Public Health Leadership Certificate in 2023 at the University of Washington, USA.Dr. Kapologwe, have gathered more than 19 years of professional experience having held positions as Director of Preventive Health at the Ministry of Health and Director of Health, Social Welfare, and Nutrition Services at the President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government in Tanzania.Throughout his career, Dr. Kapologwe has held important positions such as District Medical Officer in Bahi and Regional Medical Officer in Shinyanga, Tanzania. From January 2017 to October 2023, he served as the Director of Health, Social Welfare, and Nutrition Services at the President's Office - Regional Administration and Local Government Authorities. Currently, he is the Director of Preventive Health Services at the Ministry of Health (MoH). Dr. Kapologwe is a member of committee for AlignMNH. Dr. Kapologwe's achievements include;- overseeing the building of over 3,800 primary health facilities, m-mama program which has facilitated a total of 99, 484 emergency interventions, leading to the preservation of 4,074 lives. He also played a crucial role in establishing coordinated Community Health Worker programs in Tanzania, aiming to employ 137, 294. Currently, Dr. Kapologwe oversees International Health Management. Moreover, he played a crucial role as a member of the Core Technical Team for Tanzania's Vision 2050, contributing to the drafting and editing processes. Dr. Kapologwe has authored more than 130 articles published and co-edited two books on Primary Health Care. In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Kapologwe was featured in Serengeti Bytes Magazine as one of the 100 Tanzanian Change Makers of 2023.
