Level 7 Architect designs are borne out of the dynamic of the site and fused with functional needs, structural integrity, orientation, light, water, and landscaping.

The practice served as my foundation to perform in the architectural profession. Emphasis was on building technologies in residential architecture (single and multi-residential) with a touch on commercial projects. I was afforded the opportunity to work on a number of projects that garnered me the ability to apply the 5 Stages Of Design, an inextricable process when performing the work of an architect. Also, my experience at the company gave me the understanding of an architectural design's reliance on compliance with national building regulations and standards. Attention to detail was essential in each project and as such continuous liaison with clients and contractors had to be maintained. Thus, one has become accustomed to the continuous correspondence with various professionals involved in delivering an end product&/service. These aspects of architecture mentioned above highlighted the importance of BIM (Building Information Management) as being a pioneering aspect of running an efficient office. Administrative functions were responsibilities administered on a daily basis, site inspections not so much but were carried out at least twice a week. The company being part construction granted me access to knowledge on how different situations demand different methods and solutions on site.

This was during my undergraduate studies. I took it upon myself to find an architectural practice that would help me learn what it means to work in an architectural office. It was only for a month and that is where I was formally introduced to AutoCAD (not an avid user). Note: (All the work done was supervised and checked by a Professional Architect)
