Building video games and esports experiences for university students around the world, with a focus on developing competitive, educational and social activities that gamers love. I manage a multi-national team delivering UNIVERSITY Esports in 16 countries across EMEA and the Americas, with my focus being on the product development and strategy, along with supporting our global and local teams with the product delivery.

I founded the UK's inter-University competitive video games (aka esports) league, we believe that Universities will make a significant impact on the esports market within the UK. We're working on getting more people competing in esports, establishing esports at Universities and increasing the awareness of University esports. My role is to set out the strategy and vision for NUEL, enable our team to do great things and ensure that we're a sustainable organisation commercially.

The British eSports Association is the UK's esports National Body. Our main aims are to help develop the UK’s grassroots esports scene and provide an infrastructure to nurture future British talent. British esports has also been established to instill good governance for amateur esports players and their teams, we will not be regulating any game publisher or developer. Worked within the Mediaroom team on the Cloud TV project, as an intern Program Manager I was tasked with software design, UI/UX design and requirement engineering. This work required chairing meetings and leading a team to build the software required by the customer, and it was my responsibility to ensure it was valuable for the customer. This sparked my interest in agile software development processes which I've taken an interest in studying.As part of my work as an intern, I was the leader of an intern team which sucessfully deployed and managed an app which allowed employees within Microsoft UK to watch the London 2012 Olympics live at their desks. Similarly, I lead and managed an intern team focused on charity work, we ran workshops and organised a trip to the MSUK head office for challenging teenagers who had been removed from mainstream education and were part of schemes run by UK Youth charity. We raised over £1000 for the charity through various activities, one of which required designing and building a payment system for a fun run organised by Microsoft UK for employees. Show less
