Mavencare was founded in 2014 as a home care agency that would transform the industry through technology designed to increase efficiencies for care workers while providing greater accountability to clients and families. Mavencare grew to an enterprise with operations across New York, Chicago, Massachusetts, Boston and Toronto. In 2022, Mavencare evolved from a technology-based home care provider into Viv Technologies, a pure-play home care technology company.

Responsible for all design and architecture of the Hubba platform.Completed a full rewrite of Hubba web application, including backend and the entire technical stack. In 6 months, evaluated our options, designed and implemented the new architecture (MongoDB Expressjs, Angularjs, Nodejs), deployed production and preproduction environments and transitioned all existing users over to the new app with minimal downtime. We have now been live since July 2014 and we have achieved all our targets of performance and scalability, ease of use and testability.* Evaluated various NOSQL solution and transitioned Hubba from SQL to MongoDB and Redis* Transitioned the server technology from Java to Nodejs* Transitioned the frontend to angularjs

Managed delivery of several increments of a flagship BlackBerry10 product. Portfolio included Contacts, Calendar app, APIs and other PIM Services. Managed product requirements, carrier requirements, stakeholder relationships while supervising technical vision and architecture. • Implemented several development and QA processes to allow for speedy product delivery and better development practices such as test driven development, Jenkins CI, release branch management etc…• Implemented external processes to deal with Carrier requirements and certifications to expedite the feedback loop with Carriers while managing product and customer expectations.• Provided technical supervision for the architecture of the next generation of BlackBerry Unified Contacts, which includes QNX service on device, Contacts App for BlackBerry 10 and Contact Service APIs integrating with various services internally and externally.• Managed relationships with Product, UX, carrier managers, and internal/external Beta teams, API stakeholders including first and third party applications on the BlackBerry 10 platform.• Grew the team by about 10 developers recruiting both internally and externally.

Drove BlackBerry 10 WebWorks SDK from concept to delivery, shaping direction, architecture and managing delivery. I owe the success of the project to the wonderful, dedicated and hardworking people that worked on it with me.• Led a team of 20+ resources including developers and testers to deliver several increments of BlackBerry 10 WebWorks SDK, which resulted in 15000+ apps on App World for launch of BlackBerry 10.• Implemented a low maintenance process for speedy product delivery using test-driven development and continuous Integration resulting in 6 sizeable increments of the product in 12 months.• Managed various upstream and downstream dependencies spread across various organizations to enable clients like QNX Auto to release a HTML5 SDK bridging the gap between App Developers and Automakers.• Initiated and implemented a multi-tier automated testing architecture to test different component levels which greatly reduced the number of resources and effort required for testing and shipping the product.• Raised product awareness and developer interaction through various social media channels and developer forums resulting in many open-source contributions to BlackBerry 10 WebWorks SDK.• Energized developers through speaker engagements at various BlackBerry conferences thus significantly raising social media interactions between development teams at BlackBerry and third party app developers. • Helped attract, hire and retain talent to grow the team to achieve ever-increasing feature demands from corporate and consumer app developers.• Consistently achieved performance rating ‘exceed expectations’ by taking ownership, motivating team to perform, striving for innovative solutions and aligning with global corporate strategic goals.• Contributed to various open source projects, which can be found at http://github.com/blackberry and http://github.com/blackberry-webworks.

• Worked as a developer on Eclipse Plug-in for BlackBerry Java Development and Eclipse Plug-in for Web Development for the BlackBerry making several product and code level contributions.

• Built Web apps using ASP, ASP.NET and C#.• Built a language converter to translate all data stored in Access databases to Oracle, include stored procedures.• Contributed to various J2EE Web projects as well.
