The skills I learned have had a profound impact on my understanding of business and design.

www.forpeople.co.uk-In 2008 I was selected for a 6 month internship after Forpeople owner Richard Stevens and the directors of the company interviewed each member of my degree year group. During my placement I worked on projects for clients such as British Airways, Mars, Nokia and Samsung.The work I produced was often client facing and I was regularly trusted to present it. At Forpeople I developed a strong understanding of product narrative and service when creating compelling user experiences.

www.mothercare.com-Through a competition in 2007 I won an internship with Mothercare’s Early Learning Centre design team. The opportunity provided me with my first insight into design integration and supply chain. My role included concept generation, product development, buyer presentations, hand sampling, factory visits and supplier meetings.As a result of my work 8 of my designs were put into production, each with a minimum run of 60,000 units, sold in 19 countries across the world.
