Writing Skills: • Has written and published fiction for the past seventeen years. Also possesses two decades of writing experience in academia, in addition to having worked in journalism for several years.• Versed in multiple literary genres, but specializes in postmodernism, post-colonial fiction, Weltliteratur, magical realism, modernism, poetry, biography, and historical-fiction.Teaching Experience:• Taught Rhetoric (the “Art of Argument”) and Literature at the University of Texas, Dallas for a total of seven semesters. Was responsible for all aspects of the courses, from drafting syllabi and course requirements to hosting online tutorials and assigning grades. • Taught English at the Bangladesh International Tutorial (Dhaka, Bangladesh) over a period of six years. Instructed hi-school juniors and seniors in formal English, as well as in the nuances of specific international vernaculars.• Privately coached English writing, reading, and elocution to a wide swathe of clients from numerous disciplines. Among others, these fields included academia, business and finance, medicine, and vocational training. While the majority of clients were business and management majors, others drew from a miscellany of fields. Edited portfolios, dissertations, grant proposals, job applications, and resumes, at both the graduate and undergraduate level.• Privately edited and reviewed literature for a miscellany of clients. Served individual needs as well as group assignments.
