About Roy Numan-Besems

Per 1 februari 2016 werk ik als notarieel jurist op de afdeling familierecht van Batenburg Notarissen. Waar mijn werkzaamheden aanvankelijk zagen op het maken van (levens)testamenten, samenlevingscontracten en overige akten die het familierecht betreffen, bestaan mijn werkzaamheden nu met name uit de gehele behandeling van 'verklaring van erfrecht dossiers', inclusief het voeren van een bespreking met cliënten, en behoort het afwikkelen van nalatenschappen van A tot Z ook tot mijn dagelijkse praktijk. Het verzorgen van een uitvaart, de aangifte erfbelasting en het uitvoeren van de (wensen in de) onderliggende uiterste wilsbeschikking zijn mij dan ook niet vreemd. Ter verdieping heb ik mij de laatste tijd veel bezig gehouden met estate planningsadvies. Zo adviseer ik over het al dan niet afspreken van rente over geldvorderingen, eventueel in combinatie het (gedeeltelijk) gebruik van een afvullegaat, en bereken ik diverse uitkomsten (via softwareprogramma EPX) om te bepalen via welke route de meeste erfbelasting kan worden bespaard. Voordat ik bij Batenburg Notarissen werkte heb ik gewerkt bij Actus Notarissen als administratief medewerker op de afdeling nieuwbouw. Werkzaamheden bestonden met name uit: nieuwe zaken inboeken, akten maken, compareren, contact met partijen, akten klaarzetten voor het kadaster en afschriften versturen. Dáárvoor werkte ik als telefonist bij de Sint Joseph Stichting te Bergen (N-H) en heb ik anderhalf jaar gewerkt (waarvan 10 maanden stage) bij de rechtbank Noord-Holland, locatie Alkmaar op de afdeling Insolventie alwaar ik ervaring heb opgedaan als juridisch administratief medewerker.In juni 2016 ben ik afgestudeerd aan de hogeschool Leiden. Mijn afstudeerscriptie heb ik geschreven voor het Openbaar Ministerie te Den Haag. Ik heb (jurisprudentie)onderzoek gedaan naar het strafrechtelijk stadionverbod. Dit onderzoek is beoordeeld met een 7,3.
