I am a Technical Instructor with three decades in the Computer Support field, including MS DOS 3.x and later, Windows 2.x/NT 3.51 and later, BSD, Solaris, Linux, MacOSX, Cisco, NerveCenter Pro, MS Mail 3.x/MS Exchange 4.0 and later. I began programming in 1983 and worked with various incarnations of BASIC, 80x86 Assembler, C, Java, Python and C#.In 1995, I began training IT professionals on how to support Windows, DOS, TCP/IP, Exchange Server, and PC and networking hardware. I then went on to work for systems integrators supporting clients running Windows, Citrtix WinFrame / MetaFrame, HP-UX, Solaris, AIX, and Data General Unix. In 2000, I began working with and teaching others how to support Linux distributions, including SUSE, Caldera, Sun, Fedora, CentOS, and Debian.I acquired the Cisco Certified Design Associate and Cisco Certified Network Professional certifications, and designed and installed networks for Northwest Missouri State, Benedictine College, and Missouri Housing and Urban Development.
