Carlos Nuñez is the Finance Director for About Fresh, a Boston based non-profit on a mission to strengthen communities by getting fresh food to the households that need it most through its Fresh Truck and Fresh Connect platforms. Fresh Truck operates retrofitted school buses as mobile markets bringing fresh food to neighborhoods across Boston. Fresh Connect is a tech-enabled food prescription program that empowers people with the money and flexibility to buy the foods they need to be healthy. Prior to About Fresh, was an Associate Director in BRG’s Corporate Finance and Restructuring practice. He previously served as CFO and Vice President of Finance of N12 Technologies, a Massachusetts based manufacturer of advanced nanomaterials. Prior to N12 Technologies, Carlos was an Investment Banking Associate with Cleary Gull, providing M&A and leverage advisory services to manufacturing, distribution, and technology enabled business services industries. Carlos Nuñez started his career at PwC in the audit practice, serving semiconductor, technology, healthcare, and manufacturing clients in the US and Switzerland. During his international rotation, his main focus was on M&A support and financial reporting under both US GAAP and IFRS for public and private, multi-national clients. Carlos Nuñez received his MBA from the University of Wisconsin, specializing in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. While in graduate school, he completed an extended internship with American Family Ventures, the venture capital group of American Family Insurance.
