Starting from an apprentice electrician I gained a lot of experience in the commercial/industrial sector and eventually moved into High Voltage as an engineer and progressing to regional HV manager. This is where I gained the most of my managerial experience as well as technical and operational HV knowledge.I have been involved in progressing and developing HV Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) and being a member of the HV Operational Review Board (ORB). Re-structuring and writing SAP and Jointers training and development helped SSE Enterprise turn into a leader of HV development in the industry.In 2021 I moved into a different role in SSEN as part of the Contestable Design team in the South. Here I manager a large team across the South region of contestable designers.
