Born in Lisbon, Portugal, I’ve dedicated myself to analyze others business needs and successfully find the appropriate IS/IT solutions for them. My studies were about IT and I got my degree in Computer Engineering 22 years ago. Since then I have been working mainly as a Business Analyst but I also have experience as a Team Leader, Project Manager and Solution Functional Architect.I was fortunate to work with several clients in different business areas. Healthcare, Social Security, Industry, Life and Healthcare Insurance and Financial Services. I was also able to implement new working procedures and methodologies like Design Thinking and Contextual Design, or improve internal best practices using CASE tools like Enterprise Architect, PowerDesigner and Visual Paradigm. In 2016, when leading 60 Business Analysts from the Financial Services Unit of the largest Portuguese IT company, I was head-hunted by an Irish IT company and asked to work on new leading products for the United States Insurance market as a Senior Business Analyst. So, me and my lovely wife, grabbed our fantastic dog, packed my photography material, lots of books, scale modeling kits and tools and the hiking gear and moved to Dublin. We are settled but always looking for new and challenging opportunities and the ability to improve our professional career and life quality.
