I've founded two start-ups, including Ortik, an award winning mountaineering brand developing technical equipment for the alpine environment. My range of action goes from product design and development, management, intellectual property, business strategy, branding, team management, innovation, sourcing, entrepreneurship and education.

A Fab Lab within ESELx allows any student, teacher or staff to have access to these technologies that will both assist Interaction Design, Product and Communication and the Visual and Multimedia Arts, as well as the design of new educational artifacts, the advanced training of teachers, or even the design and experimental prototyping of new musical instruments, electronic or not. But it doesn't stop there, almost everything is almost everything!On the other hand, a FabLab should also be an important point of permeability with the local community. FabLab Benfica is part of the global network of FabLabs and our Open Days are essential for this purpose. -
