Although my business card says I'm a Director of Product Management, I consider myself as an enthusiastic Software Product Manager (SPM). This means that I pursue one of the most challenging and exciting professions, which requires to become a role model for other team members in regard to product creation process and quality.Product managers are responsible for guiding the success of a product and lead a strong relationship with cross-functional teams, to enable an efficient product creation process and ensure product excellence. In addition, this role ensures that functional stakeholders are aligned on key objectives for the program/product. It represents one of the key roles within product-based companies, which sets the pace for strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of a product or product line. PS: It is also important to have a good sense of humor and bulletproof ethical principles.
