I am beginning my 13th year teaching high school chemistry. I also taught calculus for three and one year of I.B. Math II. On the chemistry side, I have taught general and honors chemistry throughout my career and am beginning my ninth year of A.P. Chemistry. I'm presently the Faculty Moderator for both the National Honor Society (nine years running) and the Honor Council (to promote academic integrity). I'm always looking for new ideas and ways to improve my teaching and my club moderating!I love writing, spend the summer breaks working on novels and short stories for fun. In a "different life", I was a baseball scout and I wrote two books with baseball themes. In 2010, I wrote "Character Is Not a Statistic: The Legacy and Wisdom of Baseball's Godfather Scout Bill Lajoie". In 2013, I completed "Curse of the Black Bambino: Baseball's Failure to Attract African-American Athletes".
