Transport planner by qualification. Design professional by elimination.The switch from traffic to graphic was no thunder and lightning moment. I straddled both for a while until one faded out.Today, I'm a full-time branding and communication consultant. Being fully self-taught in the age of limited digital answers, the learning curve was steep but enriching. Over my 25+ years in the domain, I’ve worked on projects large and small, mundane and unique, one-off and recurring. I've had the opportunity to work on some very diverse projects for some very diverse clients. Studying a tunnel boring machine in detail to execute a tableau; designing the identity for a design school; developing a VR experience tour for a metro; researching the Hindu Calendar to come up with a contemporary one; to name some...Over my time, I've also witnessed the transition from strictly for print to strictly for screens, and everything in between.I have done it all, and then some more. But I still love going back to the drawing board, working on brand logos, and designing for print.I also enjoy interacting with young and aspiring designers.And in deference to my formal qualification, I do maintain a parallel interest in urban mobility :)
