Hye there, Finishing my Bachelor of Civil Engineering in August and I got an offer for Protege Quantity Surveyor in September. Be a Quantity Surveyor for my project in construct Klinik Kesihatan Jenis 3(KK3) which has KKM as a client and under JKR Perak, many things that I had learned until now. Being in this position, I know how to do the taking off the materials, machinery, and others. Also learned how to expertly use Microsoft, especially Microsoft Excel. Now, I can do the task with a good speed limit using the formula in Excel. Moreover, QS also makes me a person who takes seriously about financial of the project. Variation Order (VO) is also the thing that I learned here which is the job that does not contain in the contract that should be applied at the site project. Many things I will learn more in the project with the great teamwork, especially with the Project Manager who is not tired of giving me support and tips. However, the position of Quantity Surveyor in a Project is very important to make a good finishing of the project completion.
