    I worked as a researcher in the nationally funded project titled “Design and Development of a Robotic Forceps with Force Feedback Capability for Minimally Invasive Surgery” supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). The objective of the project was to develop a 7-DOF surgical robot that is able to provide haptic feedback to the surgeon by means of mechanical design and control algorithms and I was responsible for developing a control system, force estimation algorithm and bilateral teleoperation system for the robot.In this project, we successfully achieved:- 3D modeling and design of a 7-DOF surgical robot composed of Kuka LBR 7 IIWA R800 and a 4-DOF parallel wrist mechanism by using Solidworks- Mathematical modeling, kinematic analysis, programming and control of the integrated robot in Matlab/Simulink- Developing a novel force estimation algorithm and bilateral teleoperation algorithms based on Neural Network and Disturbance Observer
