Assisting with preparations for Baobab Summit South Africa and Baobab Summit Ghana. Working on the Summit research, curation, and presenter and attendee lists. Works with the Manager, Scholars Community to build engaging education for Mastercard Foundation Scholars on our online platform, Baobab. Coordinates with other members of the Foundation and external partners of the Foundation to curate content for the platform. As a member of the Gender Unit, evaluates current portfolio of programming of Education & Learning team to document and track progress of gender equitable indicators. Assisting with creation of Foundation's first gender policy.

Partnering with Toronto-based organizations serving Newcomer youth and their families to participate in programming as they are often most excluded parts of population. Facilitating workshops on Indigenous culture, history and arts to educators, community organizations, and youth groups. Organizing public community events on Indigenous teachings and reconciliation. Researched grant opportunities, created programming and wrote proposals to secure funding for future reconciliation-focused projects..

Managed social media and communicated Collective’s events, initiatives, workshops and contests through Facebook, Twitter and Newsletter via MailChimp. Represented organization at meetings with external stakeholders, youth advocates, and the City of Toronto to create networks and opportunities for the organization. Researched grant opportunities and wrote proposals, resulting in Collective receiving $10,000 arts-based programming grant.
