Current• Setting the overall vision and direction for the record label, defining goals, and devising strategies to achieve them.• Providing leadership and guidance to the team, overseeing departments such as A&R (Artist and Repertoire), marketing, operations, finance, and legal.• Identifying opportunities for growth, partnerships, and collaborations within the music industry and related sectors.• Overseeing the process of scouting, signing, and managing artists and bands. This involves working closely with the A&R team to discover new talent and negotiate contracts.• Handling budgeting, financial planning, and ensuring the label's profitability. This involves overseeing revenue streams, cost management, and investments.• Supervising marketing campaigns for artists and their releases, working on promotional strategies, and ensuring effective publicity for the label's roster.• Building and maintaining relationships with artists, agents, promoters, distributors, and other industry stakeholders.• Ensuring that all contracts and agreements are in place, managing rights, royalties, and legal matters related to the label's operations.• Forming partnerships with streaming services, music platforms, brands, and other labels to enhance distribution and promotional opportunities.• Staying updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and evolving consumer behaviors to adapt the label's strategies accordingly.
