The role of Weekend General Manager is crucial to the success of our business. They are responsible for hiring, developing and mentoring the club sales staff and with that staff, achieving membership sales goals. Previous experience in sales, leadership and motivation are necessary. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to advance. Responsible for the promotion of a safe and professional workplace through adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Great Wolf Resorts handbook. Administers and coordinates emergency first aid as necessary. Supervises and provides surveillance of swimmers and guests during park hours and special events. Possesses a general knowledge of pools, rides, and attraction operations. Responds to emergency situations in assigned zone. Assists in communicating emergency situations outside of assigned zone. Enforces the rules and regulations of the water park. Advises aquatics management of unsafe and unsanitary conditions. Possesses a general knowledge of the activity pools and flume attractions. Provides superior customer service to all guests by assisting all in a polite and expedient manner. Performs daily routine chores and maintenance of waterpark to ensure neat and orderly appearance. Performing within Ellis Certification standards. Participates fully in Project Green Wolf, our company-wide environmental sustainability initiative, which includes, but is not limited to, recycling, waste reduction, and energy and water conservation.

BMs train and supervise personnel in all activities relating to marlinspike, deck, and boat seamanship, and oversee the maintenance of the ship's external structure and deck equipment. They act as petty officers in charge of small craft and may perform duties as master-at-arms, serve in or take charge of gun crews, and damage control parties. BMs are also responsible for the "deck side" watch. they are Officer of the Deck, Boatswain's Mate of the watch, and Messenger of the Watch. They are stationed very close to the gangway and monitor all the comings and goings of the personnel to and from the ship. At sea the Boatswain's Mate of the watch is within earshot of the conning officer of the bridge. the BMOW supervises the helmsman, messenger of the watch, and all of the look outs. They also take on the responsibility of making all announcements ot the crew, including chow call and general quarters.
