In my role, I'm responsible for planning and developing Industrial areas in the Galilee and the Negev. I work with municipalities, planning committees, government ministries and more, in order to bring more, and better, factories and employment to those unique geographical areas.

The Eastern Galilee Regional Cluster was formed, and officially recognized by the Ministry of Interior, after long term dialogue amongst municipalities in the region. All recognized that there is strength in numbers and the multiplier effect when they join forces for the benefit of the entire Galilee region. Mayors of 15 municipalities and local regional councils joined this regional effort and the cluster's goals are to: • promote a regional agenda in the fields of education, employment, welfare, health and culture and • employ economies of scale by collaborating and efficiently developing joint projects that benefit the entire region. One of the first and highly successful efforts resulted in the creation of the medical school in Safed that has been a game changer for the region.

The Israel Women's Network (IWN) is a non-profit organization consisting of women who are united in their determination to improve the status of women in Israel, regardless of political affiliation, religious outlook or ethnic origin. Established in 1984, the IWN was the first organization in Israel dedicated to promoting women's rights and equality. Since its beginning, the IWN has achieved many successes including initiating laws, such as the 1998 Sexual Harassment Prevention Law, and the 2005 law establishing a Commission for Equal Employment Opportunities. The IWN has also brought precedent-setting law suits fighting discrimination in the workplace and the Israeli Defense Forces. In addition the IWN has helped women who have been refused divorce [agunot] and women who have been victims of sex trafficking. Moreover in 2006 IWN became part of the United Nations ECOSCO where it has been granted consultative status in the organization.
