Nurlan Babayev is the lawyer specializing in finance and corporate law and an expert on combating money laundering and terrorist financing (AML / CFT). Mr. Babayev has more than 10 years of experience in AML/CFT field. He has been the permanent member of the Azerbaijan delegation to the MONEYVAL Committee of the Council of Europe and represented Azerbaijan in this organization during his service at the Ministry of Justice, the Financial Monitoring Service under the Central Bank and the Financial Markets Supervisory Chamber.Nurlan Babayev is certified evaluator of the MONEYVAL Committee since 2012. He is also a member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) since 2012. During his public service for more than 11 years he has been manager of big projects like Country scale risk assesment on AML/CFT, Collective restructuring of banks' toksic assets, Resolution of non-viable banks, drafting of Migration Code and Housing Code, etc. ​Mr. Babayev is the member of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
