While in Nursing School I utilized the opportunity to practice for the RN State Boards by sitting for my LPN License. This opportunity allowed me to gain experience in the nursing field that would help grow my nursing tool box for future endevors.

This experience allows you to become a master at the basic skills which then build an amazing foundation as a health care expert.I had the opportunity to work on an ENT step down where I cared for patients who had seizure disorders, those recovering from strokes, and cancer survivors who had undergone radical neck dissections.

Directly out of High School I knew I wanted to take care of others. Where better to begin than a local Assisted Living Facility? As a floor caregiver I was quickly promoted and trained to become a Health Care Coordinator. My job consisted of passing medications, dressing wounds, monitoring residents after injuries or falls, and stabilizing residents during emergent events while alerting the local Emergency Medical Team.
