Due to this breadth of experience, I have encountered many different physical and mental health conditions. Nothing comes as a surprise! I am always client centred and non-judgemental. I work in partnership with clients to get the best possible outcomes for them. My hypnotherapy journey began from receiving it myself to alleviate the struggles of my own mental health challenges. It worked when nothing else had! I opted for the solution focused approach because it fits with my ethos as an OT in focusing on what you CAN achieve rather than what you can’t. I also value the forward looking approach as it means there’s no need to unpick the past which is a fantastic option for those not wanting to relive difficulties from the past. I am an advanced EFT practitioner (sometimes known as tapping) which is incredible for calming frazzled nervous systems as well as processing emotions or symptoms that feel stuck. I differ from many other clinical hypnotherapists in that I can complement hypnotherapy with this ‘tap & trance’ method.
