Assisted the boilerman in conducting both type of boiler water treatment (external and internal treatment) besides performing the steam boiler operation and troubleshooting. External Water Treatment• Assisted the boilerman in performing both regeneration process of Demin and Softener water type according to its operational specification following the process flow provided by the manufacturer. • Performed the water sampling by conducting the pH level, hardness and its conductivity. Internal Water Treatment• Assisted the boilerman in performing internal water treatment through water sampling by conducting the pH level and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) to ensure good quality of water supply to the boiler. • Conducted blowdown test to control the water level and TDS of the water inside the boiler. • Performed chemical dosing according to its operational specificationBoiler Operation and Troubleshooting• Ensuring the safety of the boiler system operation and cleanliness of boiler house. • Record all of the boiler operation into the log sheet and report to HOD if any abnormal operations arise. • Checked 13 essential fittings of the boiler are in a good condition and well-functioning. • Conducted water gauge glass testing to control the level of water inside boiler at its optimum level. • Checked and maintained water level & pressure inside boiler according to its operational specification. • Performed the blowdown testing to control the water level and TDS of the water inside boiler. • Testing out low and high water alarm to protect the plant and the processes. • Maintain good firing rate in burner by control the sufficient amount of fuel and air. • Performed steam test to secure working pressure safety valve. • Conducted steam supply to the production line with required pressure and according to the production demand. • Comply with company rules and regulations besides adhere to the company standard.
