Nusaike is a technology transfer practitioner possesses an academic foundation and expertise in technology transfer, commercialization, intellectual property rights, business, and management. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from NSBM Green University (2016) and a Master of Science in Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (2023), He brings a unique combination of business acumen and strategic insight into intellectual property and technology transfer. Additionally, he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and an Associate Chartered Professional Manager, recognized by the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka. Additionally, he is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law at Ankara University, Turkey. Moreover, he is also an alumnus of the World Intellectual Property Organization Academy.Currently serving as Innovation Officer-Deputy Director at the National Innovation Agency, Sri Lanka, with prior experiences as Manager, Technology Transfer and Manager, Technology and Innovation Support Center (WIPO-TISC) at South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, Nusaike has made significant contributions to the regional, national innovation ecosystem. His extensive knowledge in IP portfolio management and technology licensing has positioned him as a key player in driving the commercialization of sound innovations.In addition, Nusaike has demonstrated strong records as a visiting lecturer at various state and private owned institutions. With a clear vision he continues to shape the future of the higher education sector while supporting national economic transformation through innovation, tech-transfer and commercialization. Nusaike’s dedication to fostering collaboration between universities, government, and industries reflects his unwavering commitment to elevating Sri Lanka's innovation landscape.
