PST.AG is a growing medium-sized business with headquarter in the historical city of Weimar, Germany with continuous coordination with legal authorities from around the world (e.g. customs authorities, and export control authorities). PST.AG is the leading provider of customs/global trade data, helping companies from a diverse range of industries. Here my responsibilities focus on the daily monitoring, research, and understanding of international laws, regulations, databases, etc. that affect the customers’ ability to do international business & investigate publicly available data and determine the best methods for acquiring that data.

DigiDev: BRAC’s Institute for Governance and Development (BIGD) has initiated DigiDev, a project to develop the institutional capacities of BIGD and IERC (BRAC’s independent evaluation and research cell) to conduct rigorous applied research, within the BRAC entities and beyond, with a focus on the integration of digital innovations into poverty programs at scale. Many BRAC programs have already demonstrated momentum in adopting digital innovations for optimized impact. This project in the next three years will collate global learning and mobilize resources to promote digital innovations in development interventions for impacts across countries.

EatSafe: Evidence and Action Towards Safe, Nutritious Food is a five-year project aiming to enable lasting improvements in the safety of nutritious foods in informal markets by focusing on the consumer.Reviewing data entry tools, data quality standard operating procedures for the rapid assessment of consumer and vendor perceptions in two markets, assessing the resilience of markets through real-time food price tracking, and consumer and vendor observations & data analysis plans for EatSafe.

Member of a team that is responsible for developing the functions and toolsets that automate the wrangling and the cleaning process of the collected data from the factories. They use Python as their primary work instrument and also code in Stata when required. They document the process for future audits as well as to conduct base-level analysis. They maintain a common database across all projects. They also ensure all data management policies are in line with the requirements of the principal investigators. Investigator of the effects of the interventions on industry variables such as productivity, absenteeism/turnover, relationships between workers and managers, and overall worker satisfaction.
