After several decades of nutrition consultation, the obvious truth that food is only as healthy as the soil in which it is grown has become indisputable to me. My concern grew as I saw patients who were becoming sicker, younger. The launching of Onchenda Open Global Food Cooperative was an effort to provide fresh food directly from farm to families, and to encourage farmers in the choice of healthy regenerative practices.Rainbird Village, Benefit Corp. is in process of launching a new venture to build a Regenerative Pilot Community, including an institute of higher learning & practice, The Regenerative Arts and Ecologies Institute, including a Permaculture Research Institute and demonstration site, a Holistic Health Academy, Clinics and Destination Health Spa, the Regencubator, a regenerative business incubator and accelerator, with accompanying guest and student services and supporting community. Rainbird Development Company, is in process of launching it's first prototype community of the future, Rainbird Village, in Utah. We believe that many people can see that life as we live it now just isn't sustainable. Many of us would be willing to explore new ways of living life in harmony with nature and more provident in practice, if we knew how to do so in a reasonable manner. It is our desire to become an exploration leader, to make a very real improvement for people and the environment which supports us. My previous work has been with individuals, healthcare professionals, fitness centers, and corporations to improve health and nutrition awareness. I believe that vibrant health and fitness, as well as resistance to disease, may be facilitated through the habits of eating a well-balanced, whole food diet, the judicious use of supplements, getting adequate exercise, personal and social vigor.
