I was also acting as Scrum Master for a few teams myself.Facilitated an environment where teams could perform the best, focussed on self organisation. Applied standard development practices, such as Continuous Integration, Automated Integration testing, Pair Programming.Setup distributed agile practices, by using distributed teams, where teams consisted of people from different locations.

Lead the organization through an adoption of Agile software development Methodologies. Started with a team of 4 developers, using some XP practices, then as the team expanded, adopted the Scrum framework.

Nintendo of Europe, Amsterdam, NL – Technical Architect of the Nintendo of Europe website, built with ATG Dynamo application server, implementing content management system, loyalty program and various other features. Technologies used: ATG Dynamo, Oracle 9, J2EE.Nike, Amsterdam, NL – Implemented various micro sites supporting online campaigns for Nike, such as Air Jordan, etc. Technologies used: Apache Tomcat, Mysql, J2EEDymo/Esselte, Amsterdam, NL – Implemented Online Credit Card payment module among various other features for the Esselte Dymo global B2C portal. Technologies used: ATG Dynamo, Oracle 9, J2EE.and various other short assignments.

Novell Inc, Utah, US – Project to build a global sales force automation tool in Swing. A very challenging project, to efficiently build a sales dashboard which could be customized by users, so all sales data could be analyzed quickly from individual, regional to global level. The most challenging part was however it needed to support offline transactions which then could be synched with the server when a connection was available.Technologies used: Oracle 8, Java SE (Swing), JFreeChart. Internethypotheekwinkel.nl, Amsterdam, NL - Architect for project for ING’s E-Business group (EBCN). Within 6 weeks we delivered an online mortgage portal, where consumers could compare various mortgage offerings and submit an application for their chosen mortgage. This was implemented using XML/XSLT, so it could easily be offered as a whitelabel service.Technologies used: Mysql 3, J2EE (POJO), Apache Tomcat, Saxon, XML/XSLT, Apache Ant. and various other short assignments.

Cegos, Paris, FR. - Technical consultant on an internet portal for a leading eLearning provider in France. Technologies used: Solaris SPARC, Oracle 9, J2EE, Weblogic App server and CMS.Well-o-well, Amsterdam, NL - Technical consultant on a large scale financial internet portal, offering mortgages from over 30 financial institutes, car insurances, home insurances and various other financial products.Technologies used: AIX, DB2, J2EE (EJB 1.0), IBM Websphere, IBM Visual Age for Java.Logico.com, Woerden, NL - Backend and Frontend Development for Logigo.com an online marketplace for Freightspace. Lead developer of the Backend team, implemented EJB foundation layer, optimized build process with Apache Ant, to reduce it from 1,5 hrs to 9 minutes. Move to Frontend team to optimize XSLT page rendering. Reduced page loading time from 1-2 seconds to 50 milliseconds. Technologies used: Oracle 8, J2EE (EJB 1.0/1.1), BEA WebLogic, Apache Xalan 1.0, XML/XSLT, Apache Ant.Hewlettt Packard, Amsterdam - Project for HP Connect, a B2B portal to purchase HP hardware to build an Extraction and Loading ETL process to automate and inventory order processing. Vrijuit, Hoofddorp, NL – Implemented Dossier Management System for the Customer Support Department. Supported Registration Management System and implemented additional features.
