Novell Inc, Utah, US – Project to build a global sales force automation tool in Swing. A very challenging project, to efficiently build a sales dashboard which could be customized by users, so all sales data could be analyzed quickly from individual, regional to global level. The most challenging part was however it needed to support offline transactions which then could be synched with the server when a connection was available.Technologies used: Oracle 8, Java SE (Swing), JFreeChart. Internethypotheekwinkel.nl, Amsterdam, NL - Architect for project for ING’s E-Business group (EBCN). Within 6 weeks we delivered an online mortgage portal, where consumers could compare various mortgage offerings and submit an application for their chosen mortgage. Lead developer of the Backend team, implemented EJB foundation layer, optimized build process with Apache Ant, to reduce it from 1,5 hrs to 9 minutes. Move to Frontend team to optimize XSLT page rendering. Reduced page loading time from 1-2 seconds to 50 milliseconds.
