I grew up in Germany and the US, and lived in France for two years, giving me a unique perspective and appreciation for many different cultures.I specialize in developing scalable distributed backend server applications using Java, C#, and Scala. I like playing with functional programming like Elixir and pushing my mind to think outside of OOP. Making efficient algorithms is a joy for me and is very rewarding. I like to make things work. Another really big passion of mine is music. I grew up playing piano and later picked up the drums, guitar, and organ. I enjoy listening to music, playing music, anything involving music.
