Pulsar is a proprietary algorithmic trading firm, specialised in high frequency trading and market making in the crypto market. The firm was founded in 2014 with a vision to be a top tier trading team and increase global market efficiency. I joined at the very beginning of their UK office opening and played a role, dedicated to performing administrative tasks to onboard employees onto the government Sponsorship Management System and updating company credentials where possible in order to comply with UK sponsorship policies.

The role entailed understanding international markets, with this knowledge of calculated forecasts (macroeconomics & future geopolitics trends around the world), with the goal to lobby industry leaders, compelling them to integrate and commit to our product services into their long-term business plans.- Exceeded renewal quota with 110% achievement in Q2 (Quarter 2) 2023 and 105% in Q3 2023, earning recognition from the wider company. This included securing multi-year contracts, namely: Merck, AstraZeneca, Bayer; cementing a pipeline valued over $500,000 via quotations.- Created account plans tailored for 35+ accounts, in excess of $800,000 in ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), with intent of enhancing client engagement and reducing churn.- Customers onboarded through “client training sessions”, “follow-ups” and “check-ins” to ensure the starters are well-versed with our product services.- As Line Manager, staff were coached on personal and professional development so they would be responsible for the initial stages of the sale cycle, to attract client interest, and school customer etiquette. Ultimately to fulfil KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).- Set up marketing campaigns which engaged C-Suite executives, granting them access to exclusive events, further intertwining with their business protocols.

As well as leading renewals, I spearheaded business growth through existing IT industry-leading customers such as HCL, NTT and Cognizant. I was also responsible for bringing in new business and ensuring a healthy pipeline.- Managed the entire sales cycle end-to-end, surpassing annual targets with over £1mil in sales within one year—doubling the initial goal of £500k (£250k attributed to new business). - Lead the sales team, boosting morale and ensuring the group remained cohesive and on target.Supporting Service Delivery Managers during escalations while overseeing multiple projects/services, upholding customer relations and maintaining trust.- Experience in the bidding process for Tenders.

Served as the go between the client and our internal team and responsible for overseeing 13+ accounts (worth £1.3m+ in annual recurring revenue). Outside of SLA (Service Level Agreement) management, I was awarded for going beyond expectations, documentation, and attention to detail.- On a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, I presented business reviews, tailoring status reports to client’s needs and providing advice to improve their business operations.- Oversaw the renewal process, managing SOWs (Statement of Work) and POs (Purchase Orders). This improved gross profit margins and ensured a smooth transition into the new year.- Acted as the middleman, relaying feedback between clients and developers in the evolution of the product services.
