As a Level III Writing Consultant, I had to perform separate training and tasks to reach higher levels of certification. As a tutor, I am certified in assisting English as a Second Language(ESL) students as well as those with mental disabilities. I am certified in creating and leading large group tutoring sessions. For my level III certification, I was tasked with looking into ways of leading a larger group tutor session that would allow the Writing Center to better handle this high demand class. This curriculum is now a session that I now actively participate in and lead every week.

As a software development intern, I worked to transition parts of the system from JavaScript to TypeScript. I was also tasked with creating a new feature, QuickFind, that would allow users to press a key combo and launch a search system. This resulted in customers being able to search for an field or section in their window and immediately be taken to that section. My final project involved code analysis of the system to determine the difficulty of transitioning to a more generic codebase for SQL querying. After my research, I was tasked with transitioning the system to this genericized method. This resulted in the removal of 42,000+ lines of boiler plate code from the system.
