Nick has over 20 years of experience in education and nonprofit leadership helping youth and young adults. He worked 18 years at the the Winston-Salem Street School—first as a teacher and tutor, later as a principal and basketball coach. Additionally, Nick has worked multiple years at the Winston-Salem Christian School as a teacher and basketball coach, and at Forsyth Country Day School as a flag football director and leadership/sports summer counselor. Prior to teaching, Nick worked 3 years at East Carolina University, his alma mater, as a campus minister who specialized in spiritual formation and personal growth. Most of all, Nick is a connector, collaborator, and motivator who values diversity, community, and social justice.
