In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic changed life drastically, and I saw its impact firsthand in my neighborhood. One day at the local HEB grocery store, I was struck by empty shelves and long lines of anxious customers. This experience sparked my interest in supply chain management. I wanted to understand how such a vital system could face such challenges.My curiosity led me to study Supply Chain Management and Analytics at the University of Texas at Dallas. Through my studies, I learned how supply chains connect producers to consumers, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services. The pandemic highlighted the vulnerabilities and importance of these systems.With a foundation in academic excellence, global exposure, and leadership experience, I am committed to driving innovation and sustainability in supply chain management. My goals include securing an international assignment and advancing into a management position to impact global supply chain strategies meaningfully.Outside of my professional pursuits, I find inspiration in nature through hiking, running, and biking. These activities reinforce my dedication to environmental sustainability in my work. I also dream of restoring a pre-2000s truck, combining my love for mechanics and sustainability.
