As a Holistic Clinical Nutritionist, my passion is helping my clients explore their relationship with food and supporting them to change the habits that are not serving them. I can provide dietary and lifestyle recommendations, as well as educational resources, meal plans and recipes but my biggest focus is listening to my clients and understanding their current situation and how they got there. Everybody has the power to improve their own health and I believe building awareness around your habits and empowering yourself to make healthy choices is key to making positive and lasting change. My approach is a coaching style which means I provide a different level of support and also ask the difficult questions about what’s holding you back from thriving.

As well as looking for opportunities for experience in the natural health industry, I'm also working on my passion project - to provide nutritional education and coaching to individuals, companies and community groups. I also offer business coaching and support to natural medicine businesses.

After volunteering at HealthHack in 2019 I joined the organising team in 2020. HealthHack allows me to use my skills in team, project and event management while pursuing my passion in the health industry.

Health Benchmarking delivers general and functional pathology testing to benchmark current health status. I am on the team of Clinical Nutritionists that provide personalised interpretation of these test results to identify health risks, monitor existing conditions and improve overall health. We are passionate about empowering people to take control of their health and wellbeing. Our customized test bundles help to identify the root cause and risk factors preventing you from achieving optimal health.

After starting a Health Science degree in Nutrition part time in 2016, 2020 was the time to commit to full time study for my final year. The final 6 months of my degree included 280 hours of clinical practice, seeing clients in the Endeavour Wellness Clinic on the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

Tatts Group merged with Tabcorp in December 2017 and I continued in the Business Analyst role. While still supporting my 'home' team in its BAU functions, I also worked on projects that delivered new and improved products for our business customers. The primary activity of my role still included facilitating interactions between stakeholders from all teams required for product development and using the output to drive quality outcomes while incorporating good change management practices. I also continued to help drive agile behaviours within Tabcorp's ways of working.

The primary activity in this role was the facilitation of interactions between all stakeholders to get quality outcomes, this includes product, UX and marketing, operational, finance and support teams, corporate sponsors, legal, security and compliance as well as infrastructure and architecture while navigating business analysis in Tatts' new agile environment. The change management aspect of business analysis is what appeals to me the most. Being able to deliver a product or service that the end user gets value from is what has always driven me. I believe a good business analyst is key to this outcome. I was also fortunate enough to attend the SoftEd course for the Agile Business Analyst. It not only provided me with more tools for my facilitation tool belt but also re-iterated the agile fundamentals that we had learned through the Tatts Group agility transformation.

After my experience in the UK working with Maxgaming's own monitoring system, there was an opportunity to join the Maxgaming test team and share my business focused knowledge with the technology teams that were developing and testing the monitoring system. My focus in this role was predominantly with the UK system but I also had the chance to share my knowledge of the QLD business software and processes to assists teams working on the QLD monitoring systems. In 2012 I passed the Software Testing Foundation course which helped me to build on my software testing knowledge to complement the business knowledge I already had. Being part of the technology team I have also been able to extended my technical skills to help me succeed in this role.

As a Tatts Group Company, I was able to work for 12 months with the UK business unit of Tatts Group to implement Maxgaming's own monitoring system. Preparation before the roll out included user guides, training plans and roll out schedules. The training component of the role consisted of several group ‘train the trainer’ sessions to ensure support and development staff were prepared for the roll out and after that, visiting 3-4 venues a week, across the UK, to assist with training and implementation. The roll out management component of the role consisted of co-ordinating the implementation and training at 155 venues in a 6 month period with over 200 staff members. I was also responsible to ensure that hardware, software and training documentation was distributed on time and where necessary to these venues. After each venue was cut over to the new system I was then responsible for ongoing support and training both on-site and from head office. I was also expected to report back to the board each fortnight with progress updates. Once the roll out was complete I transferred back to Maxgaming in Australia.

The Training Officer role was created to provide training and induction to Maxgaming's Service Support staff. This included training existing staff on new products and services coming to market, recording procedures on an internal Wiki and providing feedback to developers for improvements and rectifying issues. The role also included induction of new staff, providing product training, ongoing support and 'buddying' on calls. The role also involved some administrative and audit processes, for example auditing exisiting process, preparing reports and assisting other departments with investigations into support issues.

In this role I was a part of the training and roll out team that implemented Maxgaming's card based gaming solution to venues across QLD - including Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Port Douglas and Mt Isa. This role included training of venue and internal staff, on-site and phone support, troubleshooting issues and working with developers, support staff and sales managers to facilitate implementation and ongoing support. Training of the solution covered software, hardware, adminsitration, reporting and marketing.I was able to complete my Certificate IV in Training and Development while in this role.

The Maxgaming Service Support Centre offers support to customers and internal staff for software and hardware including monitoring, loyalty, reporting and gaming machines. It also liaises with other business units to provide this support including machine technicians (Bytecraft), implementation and installation, training and development and sales. In this role I worked a rotating 7 day roster to provide support for all Maxgaming products and services.

In 2006 I was employed in the club as a bar supervisor. Within a few months I was promoted to Assistant Manager of the club and then to Sports and Hospitality Manager. As Assistant Manager I was was responsible for up to 10 staff, 40 gaming machines and a 100 seat restaurant, including functions such as Melbourne Cup, Mothers Day and Christmas Day as well as fortnightly AFL games held at the Zillmere Eagles fields onsite. My day to day activities also included rosters, stock control, keno, gaming clearances/end of month reporting and general administration. I also managed the implementation of a networked point of sale/stock control system. As Sports and Hospitality Manager I was responsible for the coordination of over 20 sporting fields and 30 sporting clubs across 4 precincts at Wavell Heights, Zillmere and Chermside. These clubs included AFL, Rugby Union, Soccer, Hockey, Softball, Touch Football and Beach Volleyball. I was also responsible for the bar and food outlets at each precinct, including 5 staff and stock control. In both these roles I worked closely with the CEO in all operations of the club.

Everton Park Hotel and Bonny View Tavern were part of the Talbot Hotel Group. In my 4 years employment with the group I worked in all areas of the hotels and offsite bottle shops. My day to day activities also included Keno, TAB, gaming clearances and hotel administration. For the last 18 months I worked as the Bistro Supervisor and was responsible for up to 10 staff and a 120 seat restaurant, including functions such as Melbourne Cup, Mothers Day and Christmas Day.

In 2002 I transferred from Hogs Breath Cafe in Cairns, where I worked as a waitress and cocktail bar attendant. After a few months at Aspley I was given a 6 week role as relief supervisor which turned into a permanent role. I was responsible for up to 14 staff and a 150 seat restaurant that consistently served 600+ people over a weekend period. My day to day activities included stock control, rosters, training and induction of new staff and administration.
