CurrentThe FRTIB is an Independent Federal Agency responsible for administering the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). The TSP is widely considered to be one of the best retirement plans in the world and a model for defined contribution plans nation-wide, with nearly $600 Billion in assets. Serve as a trusted advisor to Senior Executive Portfolio Sponsors and gains consensus among executives and senior leadership. Responsible for the execution of agency goals and objectives utilizing the portfolio management process. Establishes and maintains framework and methodologies for managing projects and portfolio components. Ensures portfolios are properly aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Proactively works with Project Managers to validate that the timelines for the portfolio management processes are maintained and followed and that the managers of portfolio components receive/provide required information. Function as the primary conduit between project teams, managers of portfolio components, portfolio stakeholders and executive leadership.Notable Achievements: Recognized by COO and Executive Director for agency’s first implementation of portfolio risk analysis and standards Responsible for implementation of agency-wide executive dashboard utilizing Project Server 2013 Guide selection, prioritization, balancing, and termination of portfolio components to ensure the alignment with strategic goals and organizational priorities Monitor use of human resources to avoid overtasking agency resources or detracting from higher priority tasks Continuously review, reallocate, reprioritize and optimize portfolios to ensure ongoing alignment with evolving organizational goals, opportunities, issues and risks
