This endeavor aimed to empower civic involvement and cultivate a more engaged, participatory, and collective sense of global citizenship, transcending diverse belief systems and worldviews.At its core, the GERIS project served as a conduit for the exchange of exemplary practices that promote mutual respect and advance social inclusivity. It achieved this by creating an international network of stakeholders from broader civil society and diverse religious traditions. This network not only facilitated the sharing of successful strategies but also equipped participants with fresh skills, enabling them to expand their efforts and effectively connect with a wider audience, aided by the collaboration of skilled journalists.The project operated through a dual approach: a virtual platform for ongoing engagement and in-person exchange visits to several project countries, namely Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Indonesia, Morocco, South Africa, and the USA.
