Help rebuild a program which was extinguished during the COVID-19 pandemic that focuses on First Year Transition Mentors helping first year students adjust to UNM and help them develop personal and academic growth. Small cohort allows for meaningful interaction between FYT mentors and students to allow students to become more involved on campus and have a safe space with their mentor and peers. Workshops, study sessions, events and presentations have created student engagement and allowed students to learn skills to help them successfully transition to college life.
