I am a dedicated student who has a heart for biology as a whole, and specifically the field of biomedical sciences. My creative thinking and keen interest in designing and writing is advantageous when collaborating in group projects and conducting research. Next to that, my minor in secondary education (biology) provided me with a solid foundation in teaching as well as presenting and communication. I am very eager to learn, open to feedback and focus on delivering thorough, high-quality work.Alongside my studies I am a passionate musician: I have been playing the violin for many years now, and am currently playing in the student symphony orchestra of Groningen (Bragi), as concert master. Next to that, I work as a residential support worker at the dementia care unit of a nursery home in my home town, which gives me great fulfilment.
