-Review schematic layout including floor plan and elevations for new stores to confirm design meets brand standards-Review design development and construction drawings by consulting architect to ensure accuracy and design intent is met for bid and construction. Identify potential deficiencies in construction documents to ensure content of information on drawings are complete for bidding and construction-Coordinate with landlord/ tenant coordinator to ensure all criteria is met-Manage coordination of SBO items-Review shop drawings-Liaise between field, internal support departments, vendors, GC, landlord and required municipalities.-Review layout with Retail Operations team to ensure all BOH criteria is met-Manage project schedule from schematic to construction phase-Review and award bids for fixture and construction-Maintain project schedule and budgets-Review any RFI’s from contractor and troubleshoot any design related issues during construction-Review project after demo and punchlist to ensure design intent can and has been executed-Maintain project folders-Track and report progress of assigned projects to all internal and external teams-Research alternative materials/ finishes, millwork, and store design options that will yield cost savings but maintain our brand identity and design intent.-Assist in development and updates to design standards guidelines

-Working directly along side the Senior Designer to assist with the full completion of projects. From the conceptual development to construction and execution. -Researching precedent images and materials -Assembling storyboards, inspirational images and presentations using Adobe Photoshop or physical mounting boards-Acquiring quotes and tear sheets from vendors -Going out to the D&D building and other showrooms around NYC for finish sample research-Writing and maintaining budget documents -Creating FF&E, finish specs and finish schedules -Communicating details with vendors regarding fabrics, furniture (custom), and scheduling-Working with manufacturers and offering CAD drawings to work through custom items-Following up and keeping track of furniture, fabric, hardware, etc. -Writing proposals, purchase orders and invoices -Communicating with shipping / moving companies for the scheduling, pick up / delivery of all furniture-Creating all CAD drawings for the (3) Sr. Designers in the firm with the use of Vectorworks - furniture plans, elevations, section cuts, electrical switching plans, A/V plans, RCP, etc. -Maintaining the organization of project binders.
