I oversee our expansive AWS infrastructure, which is built around a technology stack comprising Ruby on Rails, AWS EC2 instances, RDS MySQL, Elasticache Redis, Elasticache Memcache, Sidekiq, and a text search databases. This infrastructure footprint extends across multiple AWS accounts and regions. It includes additional technologies that are introduced through M&A activity and R&D. Cybersecurity Leadership: Created and implemented comprehensive information security policies and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices to safeguard our company and clients.Compliance Oversight: A crucial part of my role involves spearheading our SOC2 and PCI audit processes, ensuring our systems consistently meet rigorous industry regulations and standards. Beyond that, I also play a vital role in assessing potential acquisition properties and conducting meticulous due diligence for private equity purchases.Team Management: Manage dedicated SOC and DevOps teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning, improvement, and commitment to excellence in all aspects of our work.Performance Monitoring: Implemented and manage performance monitoring via New Relic, ensuring our technical infrastructure operates optimally and reliably to provide the best service for our clients.

July 2020 - Completed a multi-environment Rackspace to AWS Cloud Migration using Terraform.On going - Working on merging and maintaining legacy code and infrastructure in several AWS accounts from an M&A while integrating multiple workflows into a single org.Building, writing and maintaining coherent documentation and data flow diagrams for use across the org as well as customer and client needs.Training and teaching team members across departments about Devops practices and technologies to improve autonomy and increase productivity. Working with Circle CI, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, a dozen or more AWS Services.Languages include Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Go, bash and several DSLs.
