I am a linguist, have got a B. A. in English, English Literature and German. I was an English and German teacher (adults) for many years. My first job was as an administrative assistant,, so along the years I took courses and kept updated in that area as I knew I would stop teaching some day.I now work as a coordinator at ICIQ (Catalonia), a research institute, where I help with admin work, but I also edit scientific articles and help writing grant applications, reports etc. I work with wonderful, amazingly intelligent people, which is a challenge, and what I like most about my job is that I work in a multicultural environment with young researchers. I my (scarce) free time I volunteer and help people who learn foregin languages, I'm very proud of my collaborations with Unilang.org and Facebook where I help young people from all over the worl who learn Catalan and Norwegian.
