My job was to provide assistance to both individuals and STCU members when they called into our department with inquiries including providing account balances, doing basic account maintenance (transferring funds for members and providing basic troubleshooting assistance), directing individuals to specialists and answering their questions about STCU as a institution and products that were being offered at the time. I was one of the few Spanish speakers and therefore assisted both English and Spanish speaking individuals. Alongside normal customer service duties, I was given the opportunity to do some maintenance on our department's internal site where we maintained proper documentation of our processes and help to organize the content we provided for both the Contact Center and other internal departments.

As an administrative assistant, my role was to provide support for my supervisor and then for other employees in our office as needed. I was responsible for redesigning and maintaining the department’s website and creating posters and brochures to be distributed around campus. Alongside my other technical tasks including data entry and content management, I served as the secretary and front desk receptionist. I interacted directly with incoming visitors by greeting them and then directing them to their final destination.

As a child care staff, I would oversee approximately 15 children per week ranging from the ages of 6-12. I was tasked with helping entertain the kids during the day, monitoring them, and providing help to other staff when issues arose or events took place. I helped facilitate various outings during the summer for our program, on and off-site events, and I was given the opportunity to create a dance class activity in which I visited various sites over a period of days to teach dance classes to the kids and providing them with a fun and easy way to exercise.
