CurrentWork with managers to schedule and coordinate the interviewing, fingerprinting, hiring, and processing of new and current employees. Prepare and oversees the preparation and processing of personnel forms to initiate personnel actions through DocuSign, TALEO, CHIPS, I-Clear, and EEDMS systems. (e.g., appointments, promotions, separations, leaves of absence, medical and drug screens, other personnel transactions) Schedule and perform exit interviews. Maintain employee personal files up to date and in proper order. Provide information and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, pay, and personnel programs and rules and policies. Provide new employee orientation and coordinate training and staff development activities. Schedule and perform exit interviews. Interpret and explain personnel policies and procedures to managers and supervisors. Act as liaison with other City departments regarding the processing of personnel and payroll actions and the administration of personnel programs. Coordinate work efforts with the Department of Human Resources on matters relating to classification, recruitment, employee selection and hiring procedures, and other areas of personnel administration. Prepare reports regarding overtime costs, staffing, and personnel activities for management review. Work with supervisors on employee disciplinary matters for union and non-union employees and attend disciplinary meetings.
