Parameter estimation of the adaptive optics control system of the Large Binocular Telescope (LBT) consists of reviewing the theoretical framework and optical control technologies to obtain the closed-loop model of the LBT applied to the correction of optical aberrations. To estimate the parameters, mathematical treatment methods were applied to process the image pixels captured by the telescope. These methods were used to simulate each control stage of the model and compare the results with real data, correcting the methods until a minimum error was achieved. The objective of this work is to collaborate with algorithms that help simulate the behavior of the control loop in similar systems for future mega telescopes in Chile.
