Education policy specialist and racial justice advocate. I am an experienced trainer and organizer of grassroots groups and nonprofits providing social services to marginalized communities. I have extensive experience doing program management, youth leadership programs, and grassroots campaigns advancing collective empowerment and building capacity. I have over fifteen years of experience being a dedicated advocate for community-led, regional, and national social justice campaigns. I strive to vigorously support youth, people of color, immigrants, and vulnerable, under-served and/or criminalized communities. I passionately promote popular education, civic engagement, solidarity movements, and restorative justice. I strive to cultivate leadership and resilience in my communities. I am excited about participatory projects and work with all people who love audaciously and fearlessly resist oppression, exploitation, sexual violence, militarization of law enforcement, mass incarceration, private detentions, forced deportations, environmental racism and the school-to-prison-pipeline.
